THE IMPORTANCE OF IMPLEMENTING LGPD IN THE SCOPE OF LABOR RELATIONS


The LGPD complies with the provisions of item III, article 3, of Law No. mainly due to the numerous cases of personal data leaks at national and international level. The law is considered an important legislative milestone in Brazil, putting the country on an equal footing with others that already had legislation on the subject. Companies that disrespect it will be subject to several penalties, so the implementation of GDPR has been a reason for effort in companies today.

 

One of the most important contexts to pay attention to the implementation of GDPR as a priority in the planning of actions is the labor scope. This is because information related to the natural person is understood as personal data and considering that in labor relations there is a very large traffic of this information the implementation of GDPR becomes necessary for any company, not just the big ones.

 

There are three main phases within labor relations, in which the employer processes the data of natural persons.
